Welcome to the Bishop Shepard Little Memorial Center. We are located in West Englewood and New City Communities in Chicago. Our organization was founded by Rev. Robert L. East and birthed out of the Liberty Temple Church of God in Christ in January of 1999. The organization was named in honor of Bishop Shepard Little who first served as Pastor of King of Glory Tabernacle COGIC for 37 years, and as the prelate of 1st Jurisdiction, IL from 1995-1997. Bishop Shepard Little, a humanitarian with a love for children, left an indelible impression with Pastor East, influencing the decision to construct the organization in his honor. The existence of barriers such as poverty, limited education, family structures and limited resources.
